ABOUT THE LIVE OAK THEATER

 

Since the mid-1960s, Live Oak Theater has been a community hub for the performing arts under the  care of Berkeley’s oldest theatre company, Actors Ensemble.

 

Now managed by TheatreFIRST, Live Oak Theater continues its grow into a curated venue for storytelling that includes theatre, dance, film and special events from throughout our global community.

 

The Live Oak also continues to rent its space to outside companies throughout the bay area.
